About
In May 2007, I set out to accomplish something that many would not dare dream of doing. I planned to inline skate from St. John’s, Newfoundland to Victoria, B.C.
The main objective to this venture was to raise money and awareness towards lung cancer research.
On September 5, 2007, a mere 4 months after beginning, I completed my journey across Canada, making me the first man to successfully skate from one end of our country to the other.
With the success of my campaign, I soon realized the potential to carry on this tradition an work towards organizing an annual event for all Canadians to participate. There are many running, walking and cycling events throughout Canada. But there are very few (if any) inline skating events. I see a great opportunity for us to work together to help make this happen. If we all work together, we will See The End.
